Gareth Morgan is a best-selling author and keynoter speaker specialising in three key areas:

He is author of several books and dozens of articles on organization and management, including Images of Organization, Riding the Waves of Change, and Imaginization: New Ways of Thinking, Organizing and Managing. Available in sixteen translations, Images of Organization is recognized as a seminal contribution to our understanding of organizations and is used as a core text at hundreds of universities worldwide.
Gareth is also internationally recognized for his major contributions to social theory and research. His books Sociological Paradigms and Organizational Analysis (with G. Burrell) and Beyond Method lie at the heart of current debates about how multiple research paradigms can be mobilized in the study of complex social and economic problems.
Gareth is currently Distinguished Research Professor at the Schulich School of Business at York University in Toronto and Associate Fellow at Oxford University’s Saïd Business School.
He has been elected Life Fellow of the International Academy of Management for his international contributions to the science and art of management and is a recipient of the Academy of Management’s ‘Trailblazer Award’. He is a graduate of the London School of Economics and Political Science, the University of Texas at Austin and Lancaster University, and has received an honorary doctorate from Syddansk Universitet, Denmark.
